the untitled project. - Songs for Unadulterated Daycare
These were songs I worked on for a concept album called Unadulterated Daycare. The plan was to make a lot of short, mostly happy songs that related to children and school, while it was still fun. As of right now, this album is on the backburner and may be completed in the future. Since it was never finished, there is no proper track listing for these songs.
Clockwork (click to download)
(A short three part song, with a strange first section)
Joke Day (click to download)
(The jokes that are funny when you're 5. Contains a sample of children talking from the 1970s. Click here for the lyrics)
Ms. Sloth (click to download)
(A song about a strange, old substitute teacher)
Nap Time (click to download)
(Self-explanatory)
Off Beat Pete (click to download)
(A song about a boy who's a little off center)
Show and Tell (click to download)
(A fascinating discovery in a simple show and tell. Contains another sample of the 1970s kid)
Snack Time (click to download)
(A song about having the best snack, and being able to trade with anybody you'd like. Probably the happiest song of the lot)
Television (click to download)
(About being forced to watch a show you aren't interested in, then coming to terms with it. Contains a sample from Gem and Jewelry TV)
The Other New Kid (click to download)
(A song about a new student who's off the wall, making you question why he left his other school in the first place. This is a sequel to a song called "The New Kid" that was never completed)
Unadulterated Daycare (click to download)
(A day without adults turns out surprisingly well)
Unintentionally Untitled (click to download)
(Meeting the principle and living to tell about it)
